Welcome to Rater Tara Diner Rabi
A Garden Resort in Santiniketan, India.
Rater Tara Diner Rabi (Star at night, Sun during day) Resort is a double-storied garden building situated within 1km from Uttarayan Complex (Viswa Bharati) and Prantik Railway Station, 4km from Bolpur Railway Station and 3km from Central Bus Terminus.
Rooms are surrounded with seasonal and permanent flower plants and attractive green picturesque majesty can be viewed from the rooms & first floor porch.
Uttaryan Complex (houses of Tagore- Udayan, Shyamali, Konarak, Udichi, Punashchha & Bichitra Museum), Viswa Bharati University Campus, Khoai, Kopai River, Sonajhuri Hut (handicrafts fair), Amar Kutir & Deer Park at Ballavpur, Bird Sanctuary (Prokriti Bikhon Kendra), Prantik Railway Station & Township, Shyer Bithi (Eco-park) at Lahabadh, Srijani Silpagram under EZCC near Sriniketan, Sriniketan Chapter of Viswa Bharati, Kankalitala (Sati Pith Temple) etc are situated very near to the Guesthouse.
Accommodation:
Total- 11 double bedded AC rooms ( 4 at ground floor, 4 at 1 st floor in main building and 3 at annexed building on first floor) are available on rent (check-in: 1pm, check-out: 11am, next day) for the guests.

- Split AC & TV in the rooms & Fridge in all special rooms.
- Calling bell facilities in all rooms.
- Attached Western Toilets with Geyser (winter only), showers, cabin fan, wash basin etc.
- Marbled/ tiled floor in each room.
- Local Cane furniture in most of the rooms.
- Complimentary morning Tea.
- Cupboard & sufficient storing facilities in each room.
- Separate Dining Hall.
Before booking, please note:
- Seperate Filtered Drinking Water.
- Beautifully maintained flower garden having different kinds of trees and plants.
- Lawns and sufficient sitting arrangement in the gardens.
- Swing (Dolna/Jhula) in the gardens.
- 2 Tier Dormitory accommodations for Driver with nominal extra charges.
- Free Car Parking (Max. 4 cars in front side).
- First floor having a beautiful extended balcony/ porch for sitting.
- Cars for drop and pick-up and sight-seeing with extra charges.
- Inverter back-up max up to 3 hours for power cut. AC will not work during power-cut.
- Foods are served only in dining hall; only morning tea is served in the rooms.
- Only Bengali Meals & Breakfast are available & served.
- Doctor is available in day time only, at night no doctor is available even in emergency.
- Pet animals are not allowed in the Guest House.
- It’s a Resort, not a Hotel; one must consider it before booking.

What a beautiful property. Situated on a quiet area. Very close to Sonajhuri Haat. Staff are extra helpful! Located in a quieter neighborhood, away from the noisy streets but still near the main road. Food in the restaurant was really good.
